My qualifications:
· A 4-year certification as a registered psychotherapist (MPF) from SEOP (The School for Existential and Experiential Psychotherapy), Copenhagen, DK.
· A degree in Psychology from Middlesex University, London, UK
· A certificate in Counselling from Birmingham University, UK
I have a work background as an entrepreneur and business owner with 15 years of leadership and personnel development as core focus. Over the past three years, I have worked with highly vulnerable families and children and separately as a counsellor through the Danish Mental Health Foundation, supporting and advising individuals with mental illness and their relatives.
I was born into a cross-cultural and bilingual family, and most of my life—both privately and in my studies and work—has taken place in multicultural environments across different countries. This has shaped me as a person with a nuanced cultural perspective and experience, that I actively use as a therapist.
My own path into psychotherapy came through my personal discovery, that there is an important message calling for our gentle attention, within the painful challenges that life can present to us. It is my experience that when we find the right support, courage and ability to really listen with consciousness, we can choose new and valuable pathways and reclaim ourselves more fully.
